1217071 2011-07-23 12:31:00 You mention recording serial numbers of the notes, it won't help in the slightest as it's not like the bank records which notes are in their possession. Even if you were to record them you'd still need video of them going in the envelope, then into the ATM or being handed over the counter along with that days daily paper in the shot and a counter...

At worst you meet the bank 1/2 way if they don't sue for defamation ;-p

I doubt it would be in the banks interest to sue the little man.

And put 1 copy in with the bag.
At least it would show what notes went in there, because the serial number is specific to certain notes.
See?

Defamation? Hah, I know what I had.

1217076 2011-07-29 11:07:00 With the deathly accuracy banks display these days, if they try to sue they'll probably wind up accusing the judge of perjury. R2x1 (4628)
1217077 2011-08-02 04:01:00 So finally Branch manager comes back from holiday and rings me.
Long discussion, I did tell her her Customer care Manager down there was very good (in fact the only one who was), the whoever manager wasn't.

She went through some stuff and although they still doubt it they will
A)Write to me
B)Refund me

1217078 2011-08-02 05:11:00 A good result, even if they are still slighting you by doubting your honesty...

In the good old days, that would mean pistols at dawn.

What part of that was good?

Nothing decided yet .

I am in favour of that duel system as long as I have a . 222 rifle .

1217080 2011-08-02 05:33:00 In the long run, you achieved a favourable outcome. Personally, I wouldn't have shown your restraint and would've jumped in feet first.

Johcar's comment re the slight is right, but probably not worth pursuing. The manager's comment rings of a begrudging acknowledgement you were right but damned if the Bank will admit it.

Still, well done
