| 1244049 | 2011-11-17 16:17:00 | Having an issue with Windows XP. Computer shut off on Tuesday. Upon turning back on icons are gone, programs shows empty. Doing an explore the programs are there. Can't copy to desktop. There was also an added user account. I've tried to make some corrections but it keeps telling me Administrator can only make corrections but the user is Computer Administrator. I set up new user under guest and was able to put My Computer and Explorer on desktop but still can't get quickbooks or others to copy. On the Administrator screen, right click on desktop bland screen does nothing. |

Read This (www.bleepingcomputer.com) Download and run unhide.exe (download.bleepingcomputer.com) to show all the desktop icons again. Administrator can only make corrections but the user is Computer Administrator. Actually your normal account isn't. The "real" Administrator account is a hidden account. |
