| 1243758 | 2011-11-15 20:52:00 | I've just spent a few hours trying to get Audacity to record 'stereo mix'. Problem turned out to be no Realtek audio driver installed. In the past when I selected 'Install All' on the MB disc it installed Realtek audio. On my new MB (GA-Z68XP-UD3 Rev1.0) there is no driver on the disc even though screenshots in the manual show it! The default Win7 audio driver got installed and audio seemed to work OK. I could even record Line-in. But as for recording 'stereo mix', not a hint. It all came right when I got the driver on the Gigabyte site First it was Microsoft making it difficult to record computer playback. Now Gigabyte. How long before Realtek deletes this ability? |
