1216739 2011-07-15 00:02:00 Firefox with the stylish addon and Erayds script gary67 (56)
1216740 2011-07-15 00:05:00 Or, using the same browser (or Chrome), get the AdBlockPlus Element Hiding Helper addon/extension. Then you can choose which bits of the page to hide (or unhide, if you cock it up like I have on many occasions!)... johcar (6283)
1216741 2011-07-15 00:27:00 Just don't use a saw to cut them out,PJ. Neil McC (178)
1216742 2011-07-15 00:30:00 Or print out an empty screen, cut and cellotape over the ads. You may need a big bit of paper though.
Looking at the forum on the work pc is a good deterrent to stay away from the forums.

Erayd, like me, you will have to walk PJ through it.

1216746 2011-07-16 06:52:00 I used Erayd's script and have a full screen ad-free display.

I agree with the need to walk through though, I had more than one false step along the way, wasted several hours and got some strange looking effects before I got it right.

Even a step 1, step 2, step 3 etc sequence would help because what is plain as day to one person can be a total mystery to another.

I'm usually in the mystery bucket. :(

Cheers
