1245370 2011-11-25 01:14:00 Hi all

Does anyone know the easy answer to this?
Looking through multiple PDFs etc, none mention what the 75 represents. Although it may be right in front of me and I just can't see it :)

Cheers for any help.

Windows Small Business Server (SBS) (formerly Microsoft Small Business Server) is an integrated server suite from Microsoft designed for running network infrastructure (both intranet management and Internet access) of small and medium enterprises having no more than 75 workstations or users.

But I am still not sure after reading those links, which I had already scoped out.
I am happy at 75 users to go ahead with SBS2011 - as it says a max of 75 users. But when you install SBS2011 built-in acconuts get created - and if you buy SBS2011 and it comes with 5 CALs, are these then sucked up instantly by the built-in accounts, or could those 5 be used for "normal" users?
We would need 75, but just using the 5 it comes with as an example.

1245373 2011-11-25 02:06:00 Q: How many users can SBS 2011 Standard and Essentials support?
A: SBS 2011 Essentials will support up to 25 users. SBS 2011 Standard will support up to 75 users.

SBS comes with 5 Users pre Loaded, you then purchase them in batches of 5 as per the agreement, Meaning you can purchase batches of 5 which may contain 2 licences, and 3 place holders.

It also depends on what other licence agreements you have with MS, meaning for example if you have say 2 users of Office Volume + 3 Users on the server = 5.

Bummer as that still doesn't answer my question. Does the 5 licenses Standard comes with include (for example) the administrators account, or does that admin account use up one of the 5?
