| 1218263 | 2011-07-22 00:07:00 | yeah i was a fan of the 330m iirc in the air. Edit: I think these were available in the US yesterday. |

| 1218264 | 2011-07-22 00:10:00 | They were up on apple's (NZ) website yesterday. I was waiting for the new MBA for a while. Without discrete graphics can't justify it. Shame they killed off the Macbook, too. |

| 1218265 | 2011-07-22 01:30:00 | Hopefully that leads to price reductions in the 13" macbook pro (which also has the horrid 3000 HD gfx :yuck:) or a new low to mid range laptop. | icow (15313) | ||
| 1218266 | 2011-07-22 01:38:00 | only available as a download, which is stupid. it's like 4 or 5 Gb to download |

Doubt it, although they might just kill off the 13" MBP production (if they haven't already) and go with the MBA as their sole 13" model. |

| 1218269 | 2011-07-22 04:15:00 | crap.. i was hoping to buy the Lion disc and test it out. i stand corrected: from wikipedia Apple later announced two alternative distribution mechanisms for the benefit of users without broadband Internet access: in-store downloads at retail Apple Stores, and a USB flash drive containing the OS, to be sold at a significantly higher price point (US$69), made available through the online Apple Store beginning in August.[11] It is not clear whether the USB distribution will support a direct upgrade to Lion from OS X versions prior to Snow Leopard. |

The new Mac Mini has no ROM drive either, wouldn't be suprised to see the next lot of MacBook Pro's come with out either. I removed my rom in the Pro and replaced it with an SSD. |
