Hey folks, Nothing sinister, and definitely no plans to shut down chat (the very idea!). I've been meaning to update the forum rules (they're from 2007!) since I got here in January, and we finally have a five week issue so that I can get time. It's essentially a good opportunity for me to hear from anybody who wants to provide feedback on the current rules. Let me know if there's something you feel the rules don't cover adequately. Let me know if you think it's all pretty hunky dory. Let me know if there are aspects of the existing rules that are essentially ignored and should be deleted, etc. What I'm doing as my part of this is to look at forum rules from well-run forums. I'll post a list of any proposed changes for feedback -- to mods first, then the rest of the fora -- before implementing anything. Hope that helps! |
