| 1218309 | 2011-07-22 07:15:00 | Full credit to the mods for keeping this place a nice place to visit. The rules really only exist to back them up when they are forced to act. Frankly, I couldn't have volunteered the contents of a single rule - can't remember a single one, or when I last read them, but they need to exist for reference, reminders and a general code of behaviour. Really have a lot of respect for almost all of the regulars here: For their skills, their judgement, their tact, their enthusiasm, their experience, their generosity, their wit, their diversity. Best forum(s) I've ever frequented. |

| 1218311 | 2011-07-22 11:40:00 | I second paul's statement, this is one of the more high class forums I've visited. But in a good way. Welcoming to newbies and such, even myself, when I registered and asked for help so quick I typo'd my forum name (which I since turned down having corrected, it's funnier this way) Even metla's ASB ate my baby thread the other day was amusing and nice. Perhaps just close any current loopholes you know of, and let the rest of it be done on a 'if it breaks the general continuity of the forums in such a way' sort of thing for everything else? |
