| 1218658 | 2011-07-24 02:38:00 | Just to set the record straight: I think some of you haven't the foggiest idea of what it takes to be a performer and artist . Quite aside of whether you like/dislike Amy Winehouse's musical creativity, it takes huge courage to continuously put yourself and your work out there as a performer . It's also hugely stressful and different performers handle that pressure in different ways . Many become trapped in the vicious cycle of a profit-driven music industry, constant desire for audience approval, stage fright and a deep fear of failing, being judged and of not "making" it . All kudos to Amy for having the guts to do what most of us will never do . . youtube . com/watch?v=FLpsljQVdgU" target="_blank">www . youtube . com What a great performer . . . |

She didn't become famous for being a 'train wreck', she became famous when she produced a 5x Grammy winning album in 2006. She stayed in the media for her antics though. |

| 1218664 | 2011-07-24 03:57:00 | Yes, a waste, she could have been bigger, but just trashed herself so much she couldn't get her **** together. Now the media will probably make her an angel and do the whole 'poor her' story. |
