1218964 2011-07-25 08:12:00 Anyone know of a supplier in NZ who I can buy a couple of SMD LED's off? maybe 30 or so in blue/white or if i'm lucky, pink?

Ebay has some but I dont have an ebay/pay pal acct and the whole ebay thing actually gets me confused :D the layout can be a bit messy when trying to find stuff like seller reputation etc.

If no one in NZ then I guess ebay it is

Thanks

1218966 2011-07-25 20:57:00 PM me if you want the web address of my sons business that sells LED's cheaper than anywhere else in NZ. I', not allowed to promote his business here the mods don't like it gary67 (56)
1218967 2011-07-26 11:29:00 element14.com (element14.com) and newzealand.rs-online.com (http:) are both good options for that sort of stuff
They both have a wide range of electronics components, and free delivery (usually only takes a day or so, unless the part is overseas, which they will tell you)

1218968 2011-07-26 13:01:00 www.mindkits.co.nz has quite a range of stuff including LEDs. mikebartnz (21)
1218969 2011-07-27 06:36:00 This one's not in NZ but I've used them quite a few times. Free shipping takes around 5 weeks or so - as long as it's not Chinese New Year :)

s.dealextreme.com

You can pay by PayPal, Credit Card or Debit Card (which I use).

Really easy.

Good luck.

I've heard of quite a few using DealExtreme and never heard a bad word about them.

+1 its a pretty good site, sometimes useful to read reviews to check quality of what you're getting, but can't complain with the low price + free shipping, you can get some really cool stuff from there

1218972 2011-07-27 10:26:00 I would recommend Farnell\element14 or RS Components. (I order from both quite often)

RS maybe better as they don't have a minimum order (Farnell requires minimum $10)
