1246588 2011-12-01 06:45:00 I have notice in the last couple of days that reply notification emails from PressF1 seem to be getting delayed substantially.

Normally they come instantly when someone replies but now it seems they take a long time (maybe even up to an hour or more) - not 100% sure the delay as I haven't checked but it's quite long.

Anyone else getting this same issue?

1246589 2011-12-01 07:20:00 I've had it where I receive a notification saying theres 1 new message, log in and in fact theres 2, then go back to the email and all of a sudden the second email pops up, almost as if entering the private messaging triggers the mail being sent. wainuitech (129)
1246590 2011-12-01 07:37:00 I've got a delay too. However, as Xnet accidentally suspended my account last night (along with many others ...) I was blaming them. Jen (38)
1246591 2011-12-01 08:07:00 As of right now (9:09) I haven't received a notification email for either of your posts.

Edit: one of our clocks is wrong :p

I don't have Xnet, Telecom here.

1246592 2011-12-01 08:15:00 Just sent you (Agent) a test PM time 9.16 according to my tick tock on the PC :) Forum clock shows 9.15

Edited:

Agent answered as close to instant as you can get Via PM -- 5 minutes later - no notification in email saying new message.

1246593 2011-12-01 08:16:00 Ignore my reply to your PM! (That would be the first one, not the 2nd.. by the way! :waughh:)

I got the PM straight away, but there's no email telling me it arrived yet.

1246594 2011-12-01 08:29:00 LOL--- seems all notifications are slow -- 9.30 and nothing yet from either in the way of email notifications from PF1. Maybe its on a go slow for Xmas :p wainuitech (129)
1246595 2011-12-01 08:38:00 I just looked at some other PF1 notification emails from earlier today, and while they were delayed, the timestamp on the email actually matches the time on the topic posts.

So perhaps it is the ISPs at fault, not PressF1... certainly odd.

1246596 2011-12-01 09:16:00 10.14 and still nothing. Plenty of other mails are coming through.

Just did a test, went onto my own web site (hosted by a company in Auckland) and a mates site , sent a service request -- thats all I need, me requesting my services :D and that came through instantly.

1246597 2011-12-01 09:40:00 10:40 and nothing. I also have received emails during this time from other places

But it still could be the ISP - maybe... Telecom had DNS issues with some certain sites not too long ago (badcaps.net was one of them)

Thing is if it was PressF1 itself, wouldn't more people be posting here about the problem? Or maybe nobody else has noticed... or cares...
