| 1246562 | 2011-12-01 04:22:00 | It might just be a faulty lcd connecting cable, these sometimes break one conductor at the hinge due to constant flexing with opening and shutting. A replacement cable for that model can be obtained for US$ 8.77 with free postage from PCHub.com. I've fixed 2 compaq laptops with similar screen problems by replaceing the cable, for about NZ$10 to 12, another one just needed the connector pushed firmly in as it had come loose. | jinja_thom (4306) | ||
