1245453 2011-11-25 21:12:00 A little late, but looks like Firefox is starting to get more and more of a "Control Freak" as to what you can do with it.

1245454 2011-11-25 21:19:00 Shame I still use FF as my only browser as I don't like the others, just my personal taste gary67 (56)
1245455 2011-11-25 22:09:00 It's why I use IE9. Snorkbox (15764)
1245456 2011-11-25 22:47:00 Firefox is turning into a piece of rubbish after version 3

I'm leaning more and more towards Opera now.

1245458 2011-11-26 01:31:00 MMm, although it's still available, just off by default. Not that I care, all my apps have update off. I decide if I want a new version, and often it's a bad idea to get them......... pctek (84)
1245459 2011-11-26 01:48:00 I took the step to FF 8.

Reckon its performance with a lot of tabs open is way slower than the previous version.
Seems to come to a head when the tab widths are being resized to fit the window (maybe).

Still a good browser. I'd sooner kiss your mother than use IE.

I learnt long ago that most of the add-ons were bile, so the few I use are not a problem.

I don't see what your problem is as it is only third party add-ons that you have not installed that will get disabled, which in my view is a good thing and it is easy enough to enable them if you do decide you want them.

I'm not having a problem, Personally I only use FF for one reason occasionally -- To download any clips of interest as it has several add-ons that work, apart from that its actually slower than any other browser I use .

Totally agree with the comment Agent_24 made earlier .

Also-- read the title -- "If you are having problems" -- All to many people have problems when FF changes (again) -- so that could be the reason -- add-ons not supported .
