That is the average speed during "prime time" when the average person browses the net (afternoon/evening) . </snip> Meh! I get that speed (and better) on my HTC Sensation . Even faster on the wired BB at home - nice shiny new cabinet at the end of the street . . . |

| 1219207 | 2011-07-26 17:24:00 | Yea unlimited sure is great. I used to think i was on unlimited, then management for the student accomodation suddenly went "lol u guys have a cap and you just went over!". A lot of people got their internet access removed with no warning. Now i have to use a bandwidth monitor. Viewing a single lecture recording alone is 100+ MB. If you do any kind of serious research work it probably goes much higher. I honestly have no idea how people use only a few GB per month. Maybe they just use it to check emails. |
Question (15792) | ||
| 1219208 | 2011-07-26 20:56:00 | Trustpower Kinect has NO data caps . Since we changed from telstraclear, we no longer have to worry about data caps . The data carries over if unused, but you have you electricity bundled with them as well and that is more expensive than the competition |

| 1219209 | 2011-07-26 22:18:00 | Orcon has been fairly decent. Only reason I would change is for more data. Service is excellent here though, so probably not. www.speedtest.net I just want to get on the GPON cable that runs 6m behind my house. Telecom say its "testing" but screw that, it comes out of a development that currently use it :drool |
