| 1246325 | 2011-12-02 02:52:00 | drivers - search the website of your motherboard brand then search for the model .... it should have instructions how to use. slipstreaming is like adapting the windows setup DVD to include more other stuff so you don't need to spend more time updating fixes etc ... or service packs ..... |

| 1246326 | 2011-12-02 03:12:00 | Is this a laptop or PC ?? Is there an option in the bios to turn OFF ACHI mode ?? Windows XP install DOES NOT usually need sata drivers to detect the HD's, unless its in ACHI mode or some sort of raid mode in the bios. |

| 1246328 | 2011-12-02 03:37:00 | Well like we've said if the BIOS cant see it change the jumper on the hdd to SATA 150. Then it will. If the BIOS can see it but windows setup cant, disable AHCI save settings. Then you can install Windows (XP) if thats what youre trying to install Does the mobo support SATA 1 and 2 or just 1?? If 1, and the hdd is SATA 2 ONLY, change the jumper to SATA 1. Have you actually tried doing any of the things we've posted? |
