Maybe if they are 'that' old they may need a keyboard with braill built in and a 40 inch monitor. I'm quite sure people don't loose the ability to learn once they reach 50 or so. Paul Ramon (11806)

they are almost 80 and things like a new version of firefox is a bit much for them....
have even been thinking about just getting them an ipad.

they just need email and a bit of web surfing.

re-installing XP is a good plan, depends on driver support on the new hardware.

1246168 2011-11-29 22:13:00 If your parents need PC for email and internet. Why not put the browser and email icon on the desktop or taskbar for easy access.
Make sure the anti-virus, windows are set to auto update.
