1246568 2011-12-01 04:49:00 Since the MB of my PC has sent for RMA as mentioned in my previous thread (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz), As it's going to take a couple of weeks before I could get it back, I'm setting up my outlook in an old spare PC. Copied the outlook.pst file from HDD (C:\user\xxx\ApplnData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\) to my new location. Setup account settings, etc., able to connect to my xtra server without problem but only to find that only the Inbox are shown and my contacts and sent folders are missing.

What have I done wrong? Where are my contacts and sent folder? My previous C: is still in a 'safe' place. Please advise me on how to get back my contacts and sent folder.

Cheers

1246569 2011-12-01 04:52:00 Outlook 2010 usually makes an 'Outlook Files' folder in your Documents folder and stores the PST files there by default. CYaBro (73)

Once you have outlook open and the account made, for Outlook 2010.

Click on File /Open / Import / (see attachment) -- (Window that opens) - Import from another file or program -Outlook Data File (.pst) - Browse to the location you stored the saved .pst file, then follow through options, this will import all your contacts, all previous mail, folders you created etc.
