1245535 2011-11-26 09:56:00 I am using Google Chrome as my browser. When I use Ccleaner I see there is a huge amount of data in the Temp. cache of Internet Explorer, ( as well as the other stuff that gets deleted).
My question is, can I delete Internet Explorer from my PC. without causing any problems ? W7

1245538 2011-11-26 18:18:00 Actually you can remove it, but because of the long ago court case, MS make certain things not work if you remove every single bit of it.
For instance, Device Manager - it would load briefly, then the contents would vanish and you'd get a nag message.

I removed nearly all of it once - you had to leave 1 reg entry and 1 (empty) folder.

But just ignore it, make Chrome your default.
