| 1247324 | 2011-12-06 04:30:00 | Hi all I need to re-install Microsoft Works Suite 2000 into my new computer. I have all the disks but cannot locate the authentication key. The computer was purchased from Dell some years back and the program was installed before sale but I am not getting any information from them. Does anyone know where to find this key? |

| 1247326 | 2011-12-06 04:54:00 | It will have been installed by whats known as OEM software, as a free program. If you have the CD's then the key should be with them. Other wise you can try running Magicaljellybean/keyfinder (www.magicaljellybean.com) on the old PC and that may pick it up. Going from memory, the Microsoft Works Suite 2000 doesn't actually need a key to install, only Word 2000 which is bundled in with it does, and keyfinder or any other product key locator wont find word /Office 200 product keys. |
