2011-12-05 21:12:00 | The message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" is displayed each time I try to open my Hotmail account. I have version IE8, in Win XP3. I have no trouble opening other web pages. Can someone please help me? PeterE.

2011-12-05 22:06:00 | Maybe something wrong with the browser. Just tried it in IE9 here. Its fine. Try clearing the cache / cookies with ccleaner | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |

2011-12-07 04:00:00 | I open Hotmail from IE by keying in my account user name. I also use a 'hot' key on my Microsoft keyboard. I get the same problem with my two computers. I use "Glary Utillities' to clear the cache, cookies etc. PeterE.

2011-12-07 04:30:00 | So if you go to www.microsoft.com (which will redirect to login.live.com) and enter your username and password, what happens? do you get "page cant be displayed" after you click "sign in" then?

2011-12-11 03:17:00 | Hello bevy121 Sorry for the delay with my reply. When I went to the 'http' I had the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" as before but when I entered the 'https' it took me to my home page. Strange! Should I somehow enter an 's' each time? What has changed? PeterE.
