1221171 2011-08-06 11:56:00 Amusing that sites have BS "like us on facebook" banners along the bottom of the screen, 3 unnecessary social networking 'like' buttons on the side bar and a irrelevant video that follows you down the page.

Oh wait, that's just that hypocritical website. TBH I'd rather see half the stuff in their list than the **** they have on their own website.

1221173 2011-08-06 21:27:00 It's interesting because that's what I found at several sites. I'd even go through and write a post responding, but then when they wanted me to sign up, I just couldn't be bothered ... I dunno why!?! Chilling_Silence (9)

One of the seats of emotion and memory in the brain is the amygdala, he explained. When something threatens your life, this area seems to kick into overdrive, recording every last detail of the experience. The more detailed the memory, the longer the moment seems to last. “This explains why we think that time speeds up when we grow older,” Eagleman said—why childhood summers seem to go on forever, while old age slips by while we’re dozing. The more familiar the world becomes, the less information your brain writes down, and the more quickly time seems to pass.
