| 1220511 | 2011-08-02 04:10:00 | Thought it worth giving an update to pressf1.pcworld.co.nz I'm not bothering with my dispute. I removed the wetback unit, connected it to my garden hose and found the leak. Took it into KiaOra sheet metal place in Adelaide Road, Wgtn. Cost less than $50 to get the leaking joint rebrazed....that involved removing a corner of the steel "chassis" that was acting as a heat sink (possible reason for faulty brazing in the first place). A lot simpler and far less hassle than going down the Disputes Tribunal route. |
