| 1220417 | 2011-08-03 00:15:00 | I quite like IE as a highly useful piece of fatware. Every time I encounter someone using it I'm reminded of about twenty years of enjoyment, and to get that much pleasure out of something I don't use is pretty amazing. |

| 1220418 | 2011-08-03 01:28:00 | I still use IE. I have tried Firefox and Chrome, they are both nice but add nothing I have any burning desire for. Perhaps if you could completely replace IE without causing any grief I'd consider it but it's an integral part of windows and it works. I hear various claims about which is the fastest, or most stable, or most compliant, secure etc but I honestly don't care. Websites work, I don't have to sit around waiting for things to load, my browser doesn't crash, and I haven't had any malware or virus's (Virii?) for some time (touch wood). The only reason left I can think of to upgrade is personal preference. I don't consider myself Dumb either, I do quite well on IQ tests (not that I believe they are accurate) but I'm not posting a number, not turning this into a "My IQ is higher than your IQ" thread :) |
