1220695 2011-08-08 22:06:00 because people want to buy all black jerseys. Sure.
If overseas buyers don't want them at half the price we can get em, surely we wouldn't want them at twice the price.

Anything made by adidas/nike is overpriced by default. Perhaps we should send someone to china to take mail orders till cup day and put em up in a 5* hotel and STILL have it cost less than buying the jerseys here. We could send them here fresh from little slave children's fingers, and everyone would be ecstatic.

1220696 2011-08-08 22:58:00 I got a genuine Chelsea jersey when I was in the UK a few years ago for 15 pounds.

Edit: the better question would be 'How much does a Sprinkbok jersey cost in SA or an England jersey in the UK or a Wallabies jersey in Aus?'

Around $100nz I believe according to this mornings news.:drool

1220697 2011-08-08 23:10:00 The easy answer is to boycott Adidas in NZ.

They are spending a lot of money in advertising and promotions for the RWC, so getting ignored by the punters they are exploiting is appropriate...

That's the only message they will understand.

1220700 2011-08-09 01:30:00 When did he say he thought roscoe was a female?

Some dudes are queer as, he may well have a husband who bought him a dress and a dildo for sexy times....:xmouth:

His remarks concerning buying a new dress, etc, made me think he thought I was female, but I am most certainly male - at least I was last time I looked.

No, Metla, I'm not a screaming poofter either, I most definitely am bisexual. I can't understand why anyone would want to take it up the arse.:waughh:

So, I would definitely not pay $200 for a dress, mainly because I do not have the legs for it.

Press Release: Boycott Adidas Campaign

Adidas must stop their block of New Zealanders immediately.

Today, Rebel Sport has reduced the price of the All Blacks supporters’ jerseys in a bid to stop the outcry against what is happening. This is not enough.

While the original issue New Zealanders had been they could get it cheaper overseas than they can from their local retailer, this is no longer the issue. Now, Adidas New Zealand has stopped international online retailers from shipping to New Zealanders. This is wrong.

Members of Parliament should start looking at what they are saying on this issue. We welcome Prime Minister John Key speaking out against Adidas. However, we do not welcome members of the ACT Party saying that it’s just the free market and people should get over it. How is this a free market? Blocking people from purchasing at certain retailers is anything is a restricted market. It brings back memories of Robert Muldoon’s Government. This is not good enough.

We make a call for Adidas New Zealand to stop blocking New Zealanders from purchasing overseas. We make a call for Adidas Global to either stand behind Adidas New Zealand or make it clear they do not support what is happening here. We make a call for the New Zealand Rugby Union to support New Zealanders over international corporations and speak out against this.
Please, if you support us, go to www.facebook.com/groups/boycott.adidas.nz and let the world know you are against this situation. Make your voice heard. Join us.
