Its not uncommon at all, Many manufacturers restrict their supply channels so they can have grossly inflated prices in specific markets. Try buying motorcycle accessories and feel the burn. anyhow, NZ retailers will be behind this as much as Adidis (who have invested millions into the All Blacks) They want to be stocking and selling high-profit items like this during the world cup, imagine all the cash heavy tourists who will all want to take home an All Black jersey purchased in NZ during the world cup. |

I have an Adidas sports bag, Friday drinks may soak it in petrol and throw a match at for a bit of entertainment. In the pre recession days we hired a stripper for entertainment. Hopefully wont be breaking too many OSH regs. |

Edit: the better question would be 'How much does a Sprinkbok jersey cost in SA or an England jersey in the UK or a Wallabies jersey in Aus?' |
