1220841 2011-08-04 22:53:00 Ah well, I'm going to ignore all the cynicism behind the event, This is the single biggest event ever staged in NZ and that alone is something to behold.

Even if you're not a fan of rugby this is an opportunity for NZ to shine on the world stage to an audience like never before.

And if all goes well then the rugby will be awesome, and The All Blacks will be victorious, It will be our greatest ever achievement, Have no doubt, Colin Meads will be proud.

Go the Blacks, Go NZ, and bugger the rest of you. If its ruined for you miserable gits then thats your doing.

1220842 2011-08-04 23:05:00 Can't wait!! It's going to be a 'footy feast'. I expect some of the less fancied teams will provide some of the best football too. Looking forward to it, as for once we don't have to watch in the middle of the night.:thumbs:
Couldn't agree more! :wub

1220845 2011-08-05 02:42:00 I have read Mets and Robs comments and skunked away and hid in a corner to reflect on my adverse comments on our national game. prefect (6291)
1220846 2011-08-05 06:36:00 If they shut up about that game, I'll knock off knocking it. R2x1 (4628)
1220847 2011-08-05 11:27:00 Maybe get outside more, stop watching TV? Watch a DVD or take a pill that will stop the whingers. rob_on_guitar (4196)

And I will be proud to represent NZ. I'm going to be working in Eden Park then. Also on Saturday for the Bledisloe Cup as well. GO NEW ZEALAND.
