It's been more than an inconvenience so far, and it has cost one of the charities I support a significant chunk of their annual income due to disrupted timing of their fundraising event... which may have a spill-on effect on the fundraiser in future years as well. I look forward to not seeing any of it! |

But even in the main centres of Aussie there is a noticable lack of Kiwi news so we may not know who won until we return. That will be all we will want to know about the RWC. |

| 1220834 | 2011-08-04 12:19:00 | What a bunch of wowsers on here tonight! My buddy and I got tickets to a Lions test in 2005 and ended up surrounded by Poms. Next to us were an Irishman and his Dad. We couldn't understand a word the father said, but he kept jabbering away to us all game. At the end of the game, after the Lions were thrashed, the wee Irishman beside me embraced me and said "Congratulations, you deserved to win. It was a great game!". We were looking forward to a similar experience in the RWC, but the EQs stuffed it..... |
