| 1247507 | 2011-12-06 23:10:00 | I need to create a new user account that will have some settings already placed on it (As soon as its created). I kinda figured that i need to change the default user settings, but im not sure where that is. Would it be done through a script or a GPO perhaps (Yeah..GPO's....fun!)? Thanks in advance for any help, really appreciated  |

| 1247508 | 2011-12-07 00:42:00 | For a start you could post what operating system you're using. And what settings in particular. Windows user accounts can be pretty restrictive out of the box compared to an admin. | hueybot3000 (3646) | ||
| 1247509 | 2011-12-07 19:03:00 | OS: Small Business Server 2008 The settings i need are set in the 2-3 GPO's i have created and published/assigned. Say i have a user called 'U5'.. I need to be able to automatically add U5 to the GPO that blocks the users from deleting browser history. Then i have U6 (Again, just another example). There is another user but thats straight foward and i dont need to use the GPO for that. Hopefully that additional information will help you out :)! |
