1248223 2011-12-12 08:20:00 I havent personally had any experience with them but I know that they are the fastest non-ssd drives available (without an external driver thingy). icow (15313)
1248224 2011-12-13 00:40:00 I have a 150gb raptor that I haven't really used as i find 150 to small cause i have so much junk.
When i did use it it was great for loading times in games and boot time but other then that i didn't really notice much difference.

It must be 4 years old and its still going strong.

I don't think its worth it to get a Raptor anymore with SSD drives out there doing so much better.
On reviews they seem faster then cheap SSD drives but get beat by anything mid to high cost.

1248227 2011-12-13 04:05:00 I own one of these - they're brilliant for anything requiring high random IOPS, but still definitely not as quick as an SSD. On the other hand, they're also more durable than an SSD. Erayd (23)
