| 1248315 | 2011-12-12 05:47:00 | Hello folks, and thanks for taking the time to read my plea. I've been using using Windows 7's backup utility for the past six months now, but now I'm finding the software to be a bit lacking for what I want nowadays. Basically, what I'm looking for is a good backup software which has the following features: (Preferrably) Freeware. I don't mind shareware or paid sofware as long as its reliable. Can make complete system images like the windows 7 backup utility Is able to back up on odd schedules (eg. Bi-weekly instead of weekly or every third day) or able to be used with windows task scheduler. Image backups are not overwritten but are instead given a timestamp in the filename (or folder) and old backups are kept. I've tried looking online for backup utilities that meet these requirements but most sites are either highly biased, dont offer good comparison, don't have the features that I want or are just horribly outdated. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help. |

| 1248321 | 2011-12-13 08:35:00 | +1 for Shadow Protect, although it's not cheap. I am yet to see backup software as good as this, the easiest system restore I have ever seen, even on different hardware. | WarNox (8772) | ||
