1248206 2011-12-12 01:35:00 I recently purchased an iPod Nano, mainly to copy music from my computer to play on my new Panasonic DVD player (which has an iPod dock) as the old stereo had died. I downloaded the Apple software etc, and have loaded some CDs onto iTunes. However, when there are several artists on the one CD album iTunes creates a new folder for each artist. One CD has every track by a different artist, so iTunes has happily made about 20 seperate folders when all I want is one folder with the CD title containing all the tracks. Also, it does not pick up the album label artwork. When I use Windows Media Player to rip CDs it makes a tidy exact copy of the CD including the label which is all I want. I have tried all sorts of options in iTunes, but can't find how to do the same as WMP. Can it be done, or do I have to put up with the iTunes garbage? Thanks, Richard. Richard Morriss (5154)
1248207 2011-12-12 02:54:00 You might try creating a new playlist (File>New Playlist) then rename that playlist to the same as the album you copied to iTunes. Then go to Advanced>get album artwork and the album cover should be applied to the songs in the list although there will be no artwork for the playlist folder itself. scottmcp432 (16647)
1248208 2011-12-12 23:39:00 Thanks for that Scott. I have tried setting up a playlist and that sort of works, but it is still a pretty clumsy way of doing things. Does anybody know a better or shorter way to achieve what is effective the same thing as WMP does with no hassles at all? Richard Morriss (5154)
