1248077 2011-12-10 22:44:00 I've imported the Bookmarks Toolbar from firefox to IE9 but in IE9, the Favotites bar is still empty - doesn't show anything.

How do I make IE9 showing all the items I imported other than dragging them one by one?

1248078 2011-12-10 23:09:00 How did you export the Bookmarks from FF ? Are they in html.

Failing a good transfer, if they are only the Toolbar options, then open FF, bookmarks,Bookmarks Toolbar, Copy and paste into the IE Favorites Toolbar folder.

1248080 2011-12-11 01:34:00 You say Favourites Bar, but just to be clear, you're talking about the bar that appears along the top?

Not the Favourites list that comes up when you click on the Star icon (and can be pinned to the side with the green Pin arrow, right?

Using the trick wainuitech taught me in the last IE discussion, you can navigate to the Favourites folder (C:\Users\username\Favourites) and the Favourites Bar is just a folder there - you can drag and drop (either move or copy) links to it and they'll show up in IE.

Or you can do it by dragging or right-click within IE, easiest to pin the Favourites to the side if you've got a few to do.

cheers

I know I can do it one by one by dragging it there but that's too much work - or too lazy.

1248082 2011-12-11 07:39:00 Check out folder C:\Users\username\Favorites\Bookmarks Toolbar Folder. That's where mine are. Maybe yours are in the Favorites folder? linw (53)
