| 1247880 | 2011-12-09 20:40:00 | Hi guys. I am running Windows XP Home SP 3, etc, etc. Problem I have is when I goto Control Panel and open Security, it tells me I have more that one Anti-virus running. I used to have Comodo Internet Security and have since removed that and install Panda Cloud Anti Virus. Anyone what I can do to remove any other anti-virus from showing? I have gone through and check for other anti-virus, but can not find them. Thanks for you helps, Ian. |

If it says that Comodo is turned off even though you have uninstalled it you need to reset the WMI to get rid of it. 1. Temporarily disable the WMI service (Windows Management Instrumentation) in: Start ->Run -> type: services.msc and in there find and stop WMI 2. Next rename the C:\windows\system32\wbem\repository folder. 3. Restart the WMI service & restart the computer Hopefully it will now say that you have no antivirus installed and you can reinstall Panda. |
