1247858 2011-12-09 03:35:00 I am using Access 2010, with club accounts. I have a report which is a payment voucher, and shows claimant, cheque #, things we are paying for, amounts and total amount. I have a remittance advice at the bottom of the sheet, and wish the show total amount {=Sum([Amt])}, but can't do it the page footer; it will only work in the report footer, which of course is not necessarily at the bottom of the sheet. Is there any way to get it in the page footer other than by typing the amount in? Brucem (8688)
1247859 2011-12-09 05:42:00 You can set a control higher up in the body of the report which calculates the total =Sum([Amt])

This control can be visible in this area, if it serves a purpose there, or set to invisible.
The trick here is the NAME of this control. Lets imagine you name the control [My_Total]

In your control in the footer, set the control source to =[My_Total]
