| 1247745 | 2011-12-08 05:49:00 | That's extremely vague... and btw if your thinking of a console now instead of a laptop, get the laptop imo desktops>laptops>consoles |

EG the Wii wont amuse anyone above the age of 12 imo so you are looking at 360 or PS3 or even waiting for the next gen xbox/PS Regarding the multiplayer, PSN and the related services are free (basically you can play for free on a PlayStation) however to play MP with xbox you need xbox live which costs money. The trade off is that XBL is much much better in many respects. As a closed service the general experience is better and Microsoft reacts quickly to remedy problems with the service as well as hacking/bad or abusive gameplay. In general, if you want to play a few games semi casually every now and then go PS3 but if you will be playing online a lot and more enthusiastically go for the 360. I personally would go for a 360, I have mates who use both PS3 and 360 and they all prefer the 360 services. The guy with a PS3 is always complainging about issues with PSN but he's a bit slow so idk if there really are THAT many issues :D |

| 1247747 | 2011-12-08 06:59:00 | And the Xbox just got updated. But most of the new options are for the US / everywhere else. Besides Bing search with voice. If you've got a kinect. Its not bad either. The updated kinect stuff isnt too bad. At least it works. And there's meant to be another update for it at the end of Dec. And sometime next year | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||

| 1247753 | 2011-12-09 02:42:00 | Xbox 360 is a b*tch cause if you want to play online you're paying $80+ a year and then if you don;t use it you're wasting money or at least you feel like you're wasting money. I would get a PS3 but then I could play COD online...fun fun. IMO PS3 has no exclusive games worth playing and because the online is free the quality of service is lower. Whereas on PC you get 95% of the games that come out (even if they are crappy console ports), you don't have to deal with matchmaking, dedicated servers, massive modding community, free online play (apart from WoW etc), dx11 support, better graphics and framerate (depending on your PC), access to genres that consoles cant play (at all or very well) like RTS's and a mouse is soooooo much more accurate than a thumb/analog stick. Apart from being cheaper, consoles have got nothing on PC's. | icow (15313) | ||
