2011-12-07 07:19:00 | Is that no to 1066 or no to 8GB? Iv'e had a look on several memory advisors, but didn't get a firm answer. Specs on the board are a bit misleading too.

2011-12-07 07:22:00 | It says the max is 8 GB DDR 800 /1066 / 1333 on the ASUS site. I'm using 8 GB 800 DDR2 here tho not 1066. But, not on the same mobo | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2011-12-07 07:34:00 | Oh good, so it will take 8Gb. We are just not sure if it will run 1066.

2011-12-07 07:38:00 | Ive got 1 set of G-Skill F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQ. Might just grab another one the same. Is it likely to run any better with 1066?

2011-12-07 07:46:00 | Specs are here. It can also take 1600 ram (www.asus.com). Is the CPU 1066 FSB as well. As it says on that site *The chipset officially supports the memory frequency up to DDR2 800MHz. Tuned by ASUS Super Memspeed Technology, this motherboard natively supports up to DDR2 1066MHz

2011-12-07 08:01:00 | It'd probably be better / faster if the ram matched the CPU (the CPU is 1333 isnt it)? | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
