| 1222408 | 2011-08-11 10:22:00 | The NZ police also have a few other codes, that follow a 1A template, eg 3T, 1K, etc. From memory some are; 1A alarm sounding (usually a house/car alarm) 1B bomb threat 1C suspicious persons/activity 1D domestic 1K intoxicated person/persons 1U and 1V traffic incident/collision 1X suicide 3T turnover (pulling over a car usually) The range runs from 1 to 6 or 7, however only 1-4 are documented publicly. They also have 4-digit numeric codes for various crimes/acts and K-series for job results. A very good list is available at www.b8s.co.nz . I wonder how often 2710 is used :banana Now when you're scanning the police bands you'll know who's at the donut shop  Can't do that anymore since the P.25 spec radios came in, it's all encrypted to the eyeballs with 3DES and AES. |
