1467310 2020-03-12 20:44:00 I have a trusty old Samsung GT-S7275T mobile phone.
Recently I gave it a reset.
Prior to which I saved several apps I wanted to keep, to the SD Card.
After the reset I proceeded to reinstall the apps.
All good except for the iHeart Radio, which claimed it was not compatable with the OS version.
So my question is: What has changed to make this happen, bearing in mind it was installed & running prior to the reset ?

1467312 2020-03-12 21:33:00 Your phone is too old and too old a version of Android
You may need to find an older version of the android app , good luck with that :)

1467313 2020-03-12 21:59:00 Thanks for the help.
Dosent explain why it was running ok before.
I have since found & installed an earlier version.
When I open it, it promps for an update which it wont install.
I cant get past the update prompt.
I only want to listen to Newstalk ZB so may have to look for another app.

Ah, yeah it does :)
It was running OK before because that was a much older version that you previously had , and was installed before the newer versions came out .

Ive had similar issues after resetting an old Tablet or phone . The old versions of apps I had are no longer available for download .

1467315 2020-03-16 00:23:00 Too late now but it's sometimes possible to extract an .apk file from an installed ap then use it to reinstall later. Assuming the APK extractor app will run on that old version of android.
I used this for example to side-load Lightbox when it first released onto a tablet that wasn't officially supported that wouldn't let me install from the play store, worked fine too.

A good idea.
