| 1462983 | 2019-08-12 01:05:00 | I'm having trouble with an old printer (HP envy 4500), it doesn't seem to print a full page properly and misses a few lines. At first it printed nothing, so I refilled the ink then kept printing test pages and more lines gradually started to appear but it's still incomplete. I also went through all the head cleaning and maintenance options, even cleaned the ink heads manually and tried printing from each cartridge individually to be sure. I filled the cartridge to the point where it started to leak a little so it's not a ink shortage. Test pages from both the printer and my PC turn out the same so it's not a driver/PC issue. | 1462985 | 2019-08-12 02:50:00 | you can try soaking the printhead part of the cart in solvent . clutching at straws though . As above, you really need a new ink cart and then hope there are no other issues Its sometimes cheaper to buy a new printer : look for cashback deals . |

| 1462986 | 2019-08-13 03:51:00 | It's probably a really blocked print head or worn out nozzles. Then again, with that much missing it might be an electrical contact issue between the cartridge and printer. Try cleaning the electrical contacts on the side of the cartridge adjacent to the nozzle. If that and/or more nozzle cleaning doesn't help, buy a new cartridge. You might consider a laser printer. Home ones are cheap these days and toner doesn't dry up if you barely use it. Inkjets are kind of hopeless unless you're using them on a regular basis. |

| 1462987 | 2019-08-13 06:48:00 | Cheap printers are cheap because they do bugger all pages. Per cratridge - or per toner. Not cheap if you have to replace the toner or cartridge every few pages.... Better to check the cost of cartridge, or toner, first,and how many pages you get from it, then decide on the printer. |
