1467538 2020-03-27 18:26:00 Some husbands are soon going to be pissed off -- remember all those odd jobs they tell their other half they will get around to it when they have time :D

:p
But in seriousness, odd jobs might be the only things that keep some of us sane in the coming weeks! :banana

1467540 2020-03-31 07:42:00 Lockdown?

Um..... yeah about that. So I live in Otaki, but the day they announced there was going to be a lockdown I was flying down to see my missus in Lyttleton.
So instead of being in self isolation in a closed pub with beer that needs to be drunk before it goes off, I am here in Lyttleton being thankful I remembered to bring more than one set of underwear.
On a side note. My earphones got stood on the other day. Where on earth can I get a replacement pair? I normally go into JB HiFi or Noel Leemings as I get a staff discount there, but all the online stores are closed.
And it is Lyttleton, not a lot of shops here, even when they're open

1467544 2020-04-03 05:20:00 Is it worth shutting the world economy off over .1%?

And before you say yes, is this the new norm? Every SARS, Bird Flu or the like will now generate the same reaction?
I think there's been too much hysteria over illness lately, panics over mumps, measles, now these..and look at the damage it will cause, far, far more than if left alone.
