1468447 2020-05-01 06:20:00 Roscoe no doubt you asked them, what time would suit them then.

There used to be a time to ring and a time to not go past, 8am to 10pm, unless it was an emergency.

lurking.

ps. wife has a friend who rings after 10pm, she's Welsh, so it probably one of those world timing things.

lurks.

1468448 2020-05-01 07:16:00 Time to ring . . . hmm . I talk to my friend in Hamilton at all sorts of weird hours .

2am once . Her dad died, she had just come from his house, where he was still . . . . and rang me . . . . . . so I went outside and we talked for 2 hours .
Freezing!!! It was winter . . . but hey . . . . better than waking everyone .

She doesn't sleep well, nerve pain and such so quite often she'll txt ot I'll txt ot something and we then ring and talk at weird hours . Midnight, 4, 5 am .

Sometimes I have to get up if my pains are likely to disturb husband . His sleep is rubbish too, so I won't stay and bother him, he needs what sleep he can get .
And my mum wakes easy, so I usually make tea and wander off out to the shed .

Pure hubris.
They are entitled to live as suits them, they aren't accountable to you Roscoe.

1468453 2020-05-01 22:48:00 Not a problem we all end up doing it on a permanent basis sooner or later. CliveM (6007)
1468454 2020-05-02 00:50:00 I find I'm much more productive later in the day, so early morning is better spent asleep. fred_fish (15241)

No we don't - dead isn't asleep.
It's dead. Ceased existing, Gone, No longer.
Nothing.
Not some other state of being despite wishful thinking and religious fantasy.
