| 1463436 | 2019-08-31 23:11:00 | Greetings, the device I have is a laptop (Lenovo) running Windows 10. I have gone to the Control Panel because I wanted to change my default in viewing photos, from "Photos" to "Irfanview". I look up the possibilities in a few places in the Control Panel and though I am given a number of options, none of them are Irfanview. I am not given the option of going to the programs on my laptop, instead the only open option is to go to the Windows Store. I even tried to change the specific default for Jpeg, but same things happened. How can I make it that photos open upon clicking by Irfanview please? At present, each time I open a photo, I right click and choose Irfanview. However, changing the default would be quicker! |

However, wainui, there is no "Choose another app" at the bottom of the list (using my laptop). I tried zqwerty suggestion too. However, the only way I found in the end to solve, was to go to the Microsoft Store and download Irfanview again. It did go to a very slightly later version. So, all well now! |
