| 1462750 | 2019-07-28 08:21:00 | I have a new laptop - mostly doing exactly what I want it to. But I find I have a problem: I do some photography and use Photoshop CC2019. When I go into: 1. Choose default application by file type 2. .jpg JPG file 3. The default is Photos And I wish to change the default to Photoshop CC2019. I have managed this on my desktop (where it is most essential) but would also like this on my lappy too! I can't for the life of me see how to do this! Pretty please? What is the answer to this 'Oh thou most knowledgeable people' ? TIA |

| 1462753 | 2019-07-28 09:20:00 | What you can try, right click any .jpg - Open With - Select the Photoshop, if its not listed, scroll down the list to the bottom, then click " choose another App" , if still not there Scroll down - More apps, if still not there - Select Look for another app on this PC- Scroll to the program (x86) or Program files ( where ever it was installed) folder, locate Photoshop, select the Photoshop .exe file. Once selected put a tick in the box " always use this app to open .jpg" ( you may need to start and scroll through again to select the box) | wainuitech (129) | ||

It just suggests 'Look for an app in the Microsoft Store', which of course doesn't include the Photoshop I'm looking for.. I suspect you're not looking in the right place ( scroll further down) 98489849 And here's a quick Video showing with photo shop, it will be under Adobe ( or should be) streamable.com Got a LOT of different photo Editing programs on that PC, was trying to fix a out of focus picture but nothing was good enough :crying |
