| 1249140 | 2011-12-17 05:47:00 | Turned on an old Toshiba Satelite Pro running XP that the wife uses and no wifi connect to the home network, in fact cant even see the home network but can see every other network in the neighborhood. No problem with another XP machine, 2 Win7 machines and a smartphone. Rescan from router Reboot Router Reboot machine Remove automatic connection to home network in settings Remove device and reinstall Reset router to Factory settings, reconnect all the other machines. On the Toshiba I can still see all the neighboring networks but our home one, so any help would be appreciated. The router is a Telecom permitted 2Wire tks |

| 1249142 | 2011-12-29 07:30:00 | Same problem myself. One of my laptops is connected fine, but I've got the same problem with my other one - and it's also with a Toshiba - but I've only tried 60 things so far. | jrp (11192) | ||
| 1249143 | 2011-12-29 08:51:00 | Not a fan of those 2wire routers, they're cheap crap just like the Thomson TG585's and prone to *stupid* issues like that which are often the router and not the actual PC in question... | Chilling_Silence (9) | ||
