1248569 2011-12-14 20:18:00 I'm with wainuitech.

Personally I've used Goldwave for my ripping, or Windows Media Player even. Try something else if you're getting so much grief with Audacity.
On top of that, you've not specified an OS, so you could be running Linux, XP, 95, Vista, we don't know ...

You haven't also said how you ripped the music to your PC in the first place, you've just said that you wanna burn it, so I'd suggest that if you wanna burn audio, try using CD Burner XP. It's free, easy, and you can't bugger things up too badly ;)

Lastly, when you've done all that, have a bit of a read here: www.catb.org

1248570 2011-12-14 22:09:00 I normally use other programs as previously mentioned, but have just tried the following and its almost idiot proof :) you can do the whole thing the easy way, 3 clicks basically and its done.
Just burnt a Audio CD, from 14 tracks, took all of 2 minutes.
Download Free-Audio-CD-Burner (www.dvdvideosoft.com).

Install the program, -- when installing, look for the options to untick toolbars etc ( 3rd window I think) Once installed, click add Files, navigate to where the current songs are and add them, just about any format, (mine were mp3) -- Click Burn -- the program converts them on the fly, then burns the CD -- Couldn't be easier.

Tried it in our old stereo and played perfectly.

Tried this wainui, but get the following
3446

I know there's not a lot of love for windows media player out there but it does burn Audio cd's very easily and everyone with windows has it.

1248572 2011-12-15 04:24:00 Tried this wainui, but get the following
3446Pass --- Tried the program on another PC and it went in Fine as well.

Did you try another downlaod, just in case the one you got was corrupted some how ?

Maybe you can contact them from the support page and see if they are able to help.

1248573 2011-12-15 04:35:00 You may need imapi 2 (support.microsoft.com). If youre trying to burn to DVD. If youre using XP. Since XP doesnt natively support burning to DVD. Or whatever media youre trying to burm to, the program doesnt support it Speedy Gonzales (78)

1248575 2011-12-15 07:09:00 What version of windows is installed? If XP you also need net framework 2 Speedy Gonzales (78)
1248576 2011-12-15 07:18:00 Tried with two downloads but the program didn't even open I managed to replicate your problem, with the exact same error message on XP.

I assume you are running the Old OS XP -- I say old because many newer programs are starting to have problems with the outdated OS now. (its about time XP up and died)

A couple of posts back, Speedy posted a link to the imapi -- I'll bet you never installed the patches as speedy suggested ;)

Install the patch for XP, you scroll down the page and there is the download link. If you have not uninstalled the program before there will be a icon on the desktop for it, once that patch is installed it opened perfectly on XP. ( thanks Speedy)

1248578 2011-12-15 08:58:00 Cheers WT, I thought Speedy was referring to the OP.
Installed the hot-fix and all seems to be working now, didn't mean to hijack the thread
