1223697 2011-08-16 08:27:00 Assuming that FV broadcasts UHF in your area then you should but of course it won't be HD. Actually hooking up a FV sat box is dead easy if you had sky just straight swap, scan and watch gary67 (56)

Yup, we have a UHF aerial, as otherwise i wouldn't be able to get Prime and the local dunedin channel. and i can easily see the UHF aerial on the top of our house too.

Freeview does broadcast UHF where i live (Mosgiel, dunedin) as our friends have freview UHF and its in HD and looks bloddy good.

My parents have sky (im 15) in the lounge (living room) in which i have a huge av cable running out the back of it into my room so i can watch it in my room.

I think it'll just be easier to go the UHF route, as i can just use my existing aerial that plugs into the wall to the UHF and VHF aerials on the roof. And i don't expect it to be HD, i'm happy for it to be standard definition.

Question for anyone: Where can i find the cheapest UHF freeview reciever in Dunedin? (probably gonna buy one with my xmas money).
