| 1248805 | 2011-12-15 08:02:00 | I have been trying to install the Vista SP1 but have repeatedly run up against the error code 0x800F081F. I have tried the solutions suggested on the Microsoft support site to no avail and tried starting Vista in safe mode again to no avail. A Wiki Error entry recommended using ErrorEND software to identify and fix errors on the computer, but a Google search for reviews of ErrorEND suggested that it was a front for a scam. I would welcome any suggestions for getting around this impasse. Many thanks. Steve |
