| 1249767 | 2011-12-20 02:59:00 | I have this Laptop that had issues with Windows not being Genuine coming up, it was recommended to reload it due to possible Hijack. Anyway got recovery CD's and went through reloading which seemed to go fine and then it failed, read the log and found it could not find the serial number, had noted that on boot there is a small message saying serial number can not be found. Have read in Google that it is probably the bios has lost its details, would this mean it is failed or had something else happened and it lost its numbers? Can I put them back in safely? Look forward to hearing someones thoughts on this |

| 1249768 | 2011-12-20 03:54:00 | Spoke to HP and it needs to be rebranded apparently, the Bios has lost its info. Need to send it to service centre to get done. So not to worry about any replies Cheers |
