Does anyone out there in computerland know what make and model of hdd is in an Asus A6Q VM please.

1249646 2011-12-20 00:00:00 My experience of Asus is that they do not always stick to the same source with models that carry the same nomenclature, it might be Hitachi or it might be something else. If you can run SIW it will tell you. PENTIUM (426)

try looking in device mangaer under hard drive. Then google the no it shows

1249653 2011-12-21 06:50:00 Step one. Make sure laptop is off.

Step two:Take small Philips Screw Driver, remove plastic cover containing HDD from under side.

Step Three: Read the label thats on the drive.

Step Four: screw plastic Cover back on.

Time taken Less than 30 Seconds ;)
