| 1224271 | 2011-08-18 22:25:00 | The netpetcat link is broken ... Much more exciting to believe there is a mountain lion wandering around!!! :) If it were a Maine Coon cat I imagine that someone would be own up to it - they are not that common in NZ and are quite expensive, so the likelihood of it being a 'stray' Maine Coon is pretty low |

| 1224273 | 2011-08-18 22:36:00 | A stray maine coon is more likely than a cougar or jaguar Granted, but as I said, not as exciting to do a report on (and generate traffic to your site to generate advertising revenue) :p |

I have met two Maine Coon cats (with different owners); they are the most amazing creatures and with beautiful temperaments. I'm sure if I was an owner and mine had strayed I'd be putting every possible effort into getting it back. |

| 1224277 | 2011-08-19 03:20:00 | Surely there is no reason that feral cats cannot selectively breed to large sizes. Imagine a large tom mating with a large female and them their offspring inbreeding etc etc. I don't have a problem with beleiving that they can throw back to large sizes. Domestic cats were bred down to managable sizes. | theother1 (3573) | ||
